Sometimes, positive, either way

Today people thought the world would end, but it didn't. And the next Baktun will start in 2220 (not 2012). So, on a completely unrelated note, life is awesome.

Sometimes I wonder what the use of being alive is, well, not really, but I did in the past. By now it seems more or less self-evident. And that is just the thing, it has become self evident. I don't feel the need to anything. I just feel sorry for the people that trouble their minds from one thing or the other. As if they were to suffer from the burdens thought of by their own minds. Of all the things they 'have to do'. Working hard to please people, to keep their stuff, to hold up a standard of life, to give an image of themselves to other people .
And I see people make their relationships, dreams and hopes crash because they expect things from life without sharing those expectations of life. And really often, just speaking them to themselves make them realize how silly some of them are. And I see people trouble themselves to keep things the way they are. As if that is better. Nothing lasts forever, everything changes. Don't wait for the change to happen to you. You know, you can choose how to change. And how things around you change. And it works, how awesome is that?

And even though nothing of the above gives reasons to live. It is quite neat to have a world at my hands which are my sandbox to spread thoughts and idea's. Who wouldn't agree with that? :P
