(Chris Rea - Driving home for christmas)
Copenhagen 10
Christmas
Well, first of all sorry if the song annoys you, but hey, I do actually listen to good music, which means that I miss out on these kinds of songs completely, as my radio stations don't kill my ears with that shit. So for me this is actually amusing since I listen to it only once or twice a year. So this time just one topic, Christmas or Jule as it is named here.
This Christmas I visited my Uncle and Aunt that live near Kalundborg in Denmark. My cousins also joined and my father also made the trip. It was very nice, very cosy and we ate a lot of food.
Even though the snow by then had mostly melted I had quite a nice view from my room. It was mostly, well empty, this in strong contrast to Copenhagen
where I normally reside.
One of the most noticeable members of the family are the cats. One of them being a cat which recently passed away, and is the first creature I know to have outlived from birth to death. The other two are rather large samples of cats. Of which the biggest 'Oberste' is so big and heavy that you need to lift it using your knees instead of your back. Roughly around 11 kilograms. They are both sitting on an iconic chair which was my favourite chair as a little child to read the many many original Donald Duck comics from the fifties which my grandparents owned.
The house (which I appearently forgot to photgraph has a lot of ground around it, amongst which a little forest where my Cousins boyfriend likes to climb.
All in all, the house was pretty much in a rather quite piece of Denmark (though their previous house actually had sea-eagles resting about 50 meters away on branches and was probably actually the most quiet place in Denmark, in comparison to that this is noisy)
Luckily a large portion of the house is heated by wood-fire so that I actually had the chance to make some fire. Which, if you know me, is something I love to do, and love to keep going.
Besides a walk along the shore's of Kalundborg's Natural harbour (which is deep enough to have a container terminal)
But most of the time I spend it with my family.
I really enjoyed my time with you guys, and hence I didn't make that much pictures.

For now, I spend a little waiting for my favourite visitor which arrives tommorrow, you will not be hearing from me for some time. And of course, I want wish you all a Happy
New Year

Aww..the cats are so adorable!
