Copenhagen 5

(Bonnie Sommerville - Winding road)

Copenhagen 5
Panoramic view, visitor from Sweden and the Samsung Odyssey

The days are becoming more normal, at least not counting my mental activities. These last are becoming increasingly strange and abstract. Not only on a social level where the Norwegian fine-tuning of geographical nomenclature is is ever present. But moreover the 'simple' notations of my quantum scheme's are giving my fellow master students and increasing headache. Luckily for them, they don't need to bother, they are experimentalists. So let me start with giving you a few panoramic views (which I hope you can open or something)

On the first picture on the right you can see my friend Annet, who came to visit me from Stockholm. She nicked my cell-phone and camera most of the time as she didn't bring her own. And I have yet to tell her that taking a panorama shot (the first one I took is the bottom on) actually sets the camera to VGA modus. Making half of the pictures made about as accurate as well, really accurate icons. Sorry for that.

The first picture is taken from the old fortress which was designed to protect Copenhagen from its many, many invaders. And many it were. The second is in the national art gallery. The third in a typical Square in Copenhagen, so take your guess. And the last was taken from the Royal academy of arts. Where, in contrary to the Netherlands, most students look exactly the same as all the other people here.

Then, on a bleak Friday I returned to my home to find a letter of GLS, if I would be so kind to pick up my package at there Copenhagen depot in TÃ¥strup. Which is here:

Or in other words, 18 Kilometres away from my house. But I am Dutch so I took my bike and went off (wearing an NSSR sweat-suit though)
Almost there:

The picture above is a picture of Roskildevej, it is the road between Copenhagen and Denmark's previous capital Roskilde. It runs straight from Copenhagen to Roskile without 4 very minor corners and a straight piece of over 16 Kilometres. It actually runs more straight then the railway.

After a while I actually reached city limits, where the city surpasses into that other mayor thing in Denmark; agriculture.

But in the end, success! Thanks for sending me my phone dad. Then I still had to cycle back. All in all, it was a long journey. I am satisfied even after the 4 hours it took to get my new phone ready. But either way, I am at least somewhat
Satisfied.
